Testimonials:

"Kelly did a great job taking a complex concept and sculpting it into a digestible image that is not only aesthetically pleasing but captures the essence of the intellectual core of our scientific finding."

- Zachary Davis, Systems Neurobiology Laboratory, Salk Institute for Biological Studies, La Jolla, California, US

“Kelly Bullock is a scientific illustrator that has worked with us previously. I usually command her cover for journals proposals. I have a meeting with her and we brainstorm about the cover image and she works on a design until we are happy with it…She is very professional and she knows about recordings and monkeys.”

Julio Martinez-Trujillo, Robarts Research Institute, Western University, London, ON, Canada

"Kelly really listens to what you have to say & in addition brings up her own relevant experience to add to your suggestions. This is important because the customer might not be aware of all the possibilities or details that are out there & as she is experienced in her craft, this enables you to "fill in the gaps" of what would've not thought of before/didn't deem important."

- Borna Mahmoudian, Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory, Robarts Research Institute, Western University, London, ON, Canada

"Very satisfied. The artwork came out exactly what I was looking for and had the realism and detail I was seeking. It helped visually represent the song Serein made and gives us an icon to represent the single. The work was done well, with a good mixture of our initial ideas and Kelly's artistic vision and detail. Best aspect was the detail and having the ability to communicate directly and make quick changes to the artwork. Worst, might be having only two edits. Its tough with a group collaboration to appease
everyone within two edits."

- Brocke Addison , Serein, Texas, US

“The course had concise rules, demonstrations and examples that gave me concrete steps for improving my figures, and new ways to approach data visualization. Kelly was an excellent teacher that was very approachable and overcame the limitations of the virtual classroom so that I think everyone came away with tools to improve their science communication skills.”

-Ben Corrigan, Workshop Attendee, Western University, London, ON, Canada
